Most tandem axle trucks with at least 48″ and not more than 60″ of frame overhang from the back tires can be converted to carry a forklift on back. This is accomplished by adding a mounting kit to the back of the truck. It consists of adding fork pockets, chain anchors, and wheel pads. There also has to be some clearance above the back of the deck for the forklift mast.

If you already have a unit and want to mount a forklift on the back of a truck, we can also install a mounting kit on your existing unit, or we can ship you a mounting kit to assemble and install yourself.
