What is a Moffett?
A Moffett is a portable forklift that mounts to the back of a truck or trailer. It is a highly mobile three-wheel rough terrain forklift, that can be easily transported to unload cargo on site.
Moffett Mounty was the innovator of truck-mounted forklifts with the invention of the first model in 1986. With its three-wheel high floatation pneumatic tires, all-wheel drive, and high ground, the concept was quickly accepted and adopted by the building materials and lumber yard industry. Moffett Mounty continues to be the dominant manufacturer within the industry.
